Angling The Angling Club has a dedicated group of members who organise fishing trips to various locations for members and their guests. All types of fishing are catered for, with day and weekend trips away. Newcomers are most welcome.   Billiards / Snooker Pennant Billiards and Snooker is played on both Tuesday and Thursday nights in both the RSL and SBSA leagues. Light suppers are served after the games. New players welcome.   Euchre Euchre is palyed on a Monday night in the Sports Bar. Everyone is welcome. The players are a friendly bunch who are ready to take on any challenge. Contact the club for further details. The games commence at 7.30 pm.   Golf The golfing days are organised by a dedicated group of golfers for members and their guests. A number of different courses are visited and various competitions are run. There are trophies and prizes to be won. To play you need to contact the South Oakleigh Club for further details.  Lawn Bowls Pennant and Social Lawn Bowls are played at the club. New members are always welcome and coaching is available.   Table Tennis Table Tennis is played on a Monday night from 7 pm. Any members would be welcome to take take part in this sport either socially or competitively. Any member interested in playing Table Tennis can contact the club and Geoff Kelly will contact you.   WAS The WASERS (Wednesday All Sports) meet every Wednesday Afternoon at SOC. Weather permitting, teams are selected for Outdoor Bowls – this is always a friendly and social occasion. In the case of poor weather the bowling is moved indoors. Entries are taken from 12:30 pm. The games usually commence at 1 pm with a break for afternoon tea around 3 pm.  Indoor Bowls Social Indoor Bowls is held every Wednesday night at the South Oakleigh Club. A light supper is supplied and winning rink prizes. All members and guests are welcome. If you would like to join in, just turn up on the night. Come along  to the club at 7:30 pm (for an 8:00 pm start).
